8. Google Ads Conversion Tracking
We also use Google Conversion Tracking to statistically record and evaluate the use of our website to optimize it for you. Google Ads inserts a ‘cookie’ on your computer if you have accessed our website via a Google ad.
These ‘cookies’ expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of the Ads customer's website and the ‘cookie’ has not yet expired, Google and the customer can recognize that the user has clicked on the ad and has been redirected to this page.

Each Ads customer receives a different ‘cookie’. Therefore, ‘cookies’ cannot be traced via the websites of Ads customers. The information collected using the ‘conversion cookie’ is used to generate conversion statistics for Ads customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Ads customers see the total number of users who clicked on their ads and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they will not receive any information that personally identifies users.

This serves to protect our predominantly legitimate interests in optimal marketing of our website in accordance with paragraph 6 (1) sentence 1 f GDPR.

Further processing will only take place if you have agreed to Google linking your web and app browsing history to your Google Account and using information from your Google Account to personalize ads you see on the web. In this case, if you are logged in to Google while browsing our website, Google will use your information in conjunction with Google Analytics data to create and define cross-device remarketing audience lists. Google will temporarily link your personal data to Google Analytics data in order to create target groups. The data collected in this context will be deleted after we have discontinued the use of Google Ads Remarketing for the intended purpose and at the end of its use.
