Data Protection Declaration

Information about how we collect, store, and process your personal data in accordance with GDPR.

Last Updated: October 2026 Version 1.4

1. Name and contact details of the controller and the data protection officer

This data protection information applies to data processing by: Sky Render Farm 24 Roebuck Close Royal Wootton Bassett, Swindon, SN4 8NL, United Kingdom Email: support@skyrenderfarm.com Phone: +44 7378 493621

2. Collection and storage of personal data as well as type and purpose of use

GDPR Article 6(1) Compliant

‘Personal data’ shall describe individual information about personal or factual matters relating to an identified or identifiable individual. Personal data will only be collected, saved, modified, transferred and used to the extent to which this is permitted on the basis of the law or to the extent to which you agree to this. You may revoke, at any time, any authorization which you have already granted, with immediate effect. When contacting us (such as by using the contact form on our website, by e-mail or by phone), we are going to save personal data for the purpose of processing your request and for being able to deal with any subsequent questions which might arise. We will collect, save and use any data which we receive during registration respectively ordering processes through our website and which you can see in the respective entry mask as well as your IP address only for the purpose of establishing, executing or terminating your contract.

3. Provider

Our internet provider collects and saves personal data in so-called ‘log files’ which your browser automatically transfers to us. This information includes the date and the time of the request, the referrer URL, the accessing computer host name, your operating system and both your browser name and version.

4. Duration of storage

We process and store your personal data as long as it is necessary for the fulfillment of our contractual and legal obligations. If the data is no longer required, it will be deleted unless further processing (storage) is required by law. The periods of storage and documentation specified by applicable law may range from two to ten years.

5. Payment Processes

Secure Payment Tokenization

In the case where third parties are employed for and commissioned with any payment services (such as PayPal, Visa, MasterCard), any data which are required for payment processing will be transferred to the respective third party.

6. Cookies

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. ‘Local storage’ is a similar place in the browser, and we use both. What we store falls into three groups. Strictly necessary — always on, because the site cannot work without them: • Sign-in session (local storage, from our authentication provider Supabase): keeps you signed in. Removed when you sign out. • Security check (Cloudflare Turnstile, on forms such as sign-up and contact): checks that a form is sent by a person rather than a bot. • Your cookie choice (local storage, ‘sky_consent’): remembers what you chose. Kept for 12 months, after which we ask again. Analytics — only if you allow it: • _ga and _ga_CEZSC36VR7 (Google Analytics): count visits and tell one visit from another. Kept for up to 2 years. Advertising — only if you allow it: • _fbp (Meta Pixel): measures whether our adverts on Facebook and Instagram lead to visits, sign-ups and purchases. Kept for 90 days. • _fbc (Meta Pixel): set only when you arrive from one of our Meta adverts. Kept for 90 days. In the European Union and EEA, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Türkiye, Brazil, South Africa, India and Quebec — and wherever we cannot tell where you are — analytics and advertising tools are not loaded at all until you accept them. Elsewhere they are on by default, and you can switch them off. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with ‘Your Privacy Choices’ at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing deletes the analytics and advertising cookies. The legal basis for analytics and advertising cookies is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR; regulation 6 PECR). For strictly necessary storage it is our legitimate interest in providing a working and secure service (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

7. Google Analytics

Consent Required

If you allow analytics, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, and Google LLC, USA. It records which pages are visited and for how long, the type of device and browser, your approximate location (country and city, derived from your IP address, which Google Analytics does not store), and these events: sign-up, start of a checkout, and a completed purchase with its amount. We use Google Consent Mode, which passes your choice to Google. If you have not allowed analytics, nothing is sent. Event-level and user-level data is kept for 14 months, and the period restarts when you visit again. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States, which is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time with ‘Your Privacy Choices’.

8. Meta Pixel

Consent Required

If you allow advertising, we use the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland, and Meta Platforms, Inc., USA. It tells Meta that you visited our website, and when you sign up, start a checkout or complete a purchase (with its amount), so that we can measure whether our adverts on Facebook and Instagram work. If you are logged in to Facebook or Instagram, Meta can link this to your account and use it for its own purposes, including advertising, as described in Meta's Privacy Policy (facebook.com/privacy/policy). We do not send Meta your name, your email address or any other details you give us. For collecting and transmitting this data, we and Meta are joint controllers under Article 26 GDPR, and Meta's Controller Addendum sets out each party's responsibilities. Meta Platforms, Inc. is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time with ‘Your Privacy Choices’, and you can manage advertising settings in your Meta account.

9. Embedded Videos

Some pages show videos hosted on YouTube (Google Ireland Limited) or Vimeo (Vimeo.com, Inc., USA). A YouTube video is not loaded until you press play, and it then plays from YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain, youtube-nocookie.com. Vimeo videos are embedded with Vimeo's ‘do not track’ setting, so Vimeo sets no cookies. Loading a video sends YouTube or Vimeo your IP address and browser details. If you are signed in to them, they may link the viewing to your account; signing out first prevents this.

10. Support Chat

The chat button on our pages loads nothing until you open it. Messages you type there are answered by an automated assistant that uses Google's Gemini service to write its replies, so please do not enter passwords or payment details. On the contact page you can also open a live chat with our support team, provided by Chatwoot Inc. It loads only when you open it, and Chatwoot may then store a cookie to keep your conversation together.

11. Emails We Send

Service emails: we send emails that are part of the service — sign-up codes, password resets, payment confirmations, and notices about planned maintenance and outages and about changes to prices or to our terms. You receive these while you have an account. Product updates: we also email account holders about new versions of SkyRender Desktop, new features and newly supported software. You can turn these off in your account settings or with the unsubscribe link in each of them. Marketing emails: we send product news and offers only to people who asked for them, by ticking the box at sign-up or by subscribing in the website footer. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and your mail program's own unsubscribe button works too. Legal basis: for service emails, the performance of our contract with you (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR); for product updates, our legitimate interest in telling customers about the service they use (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR); for marketing emails, your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

12. Your Privacy Choices (United States)

If you live in a US state with a consumer privacy law, such as California, Virginia or Colorado: we do not sell your personal information for money. Allowing the Meta Pixel may count as ‘sharing’ personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, or as ‘targeted advertising’, under those laws. You can opt out at any time with ‘Your Privacy Choices’ at the bottom of every page, by switching off Advertising. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as that opt-out automatically. You can also ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to support@skyrenderfarm.com. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

13. Information about your rights

GDPR Articles 15-21

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you (Article 15 GDPR), to have it corrected (Article 16), deleted (Article 17) or its processing restricted (Article 18), to receive it in a portable format (Article 20), and to object to processing based on our legitimate interests, including direct marketing (Article 21). Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. This does not affect processing that took place before the withdrawal. To use any of these rights, write to support@skyrenderfarm.com. You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority: in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), or the authority where you live or work.

14. Data security

AES-256 SSL Encryption

We use the common SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method in connection with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser (usually 256-bit).
